We were very excited to have Maddie back in Room 1 today! She has been away on an amazing adventure. She wrote a journal while she was travelling and she brought it in to share with us today. We loved listening to her travel stories and learning lots about America.

Maddie told us about some differences between New York and New Zealand
- They drive on the other side of the road
- Their light switches are upside down.
- American money is different. They have a penny and dime and also $1 bills.
